It's Halloween ....

Hope everyone has a Spooky and Fun DAY !! Our Halloween happen to be yesterday. We took Ryan to a "Kids Costume Bowl" on post and then an hour of Trick-or-Treating right after. He had so much fun and enjoyed being Buzz Lightyear for the night. Once we got into the car he had one milky way and passed out. LOL. Halloween Mini Book

My small Halloween mini-book is done. Yay!!! You might remember it from last year. I originally made it for my ETSY Shoppe, but decided to keep it and not put back up this year. I added a couple more touches and thought it would be great for all of Ryan’s costumes from ages 1-6. I love how it turned out and the little tags are perfect to journal on.

I have been keeping up with the Halloween Challenges on 2peas. I love Halloween crafting. Decided to enter my mini album in the Book Challenge. Crossing my fingers. Digital Doodle Tuesday !!!

I can’t believe it’s been a week since my last post already. I promise once I’m finished with my room you will see more than just DT projects. So it’s Digital Tuesday once again. It was very hard to get in the snowy mood in shorts but I managed. Here’s one of Kathy Martins new Doodles "Frosty Friend”. This little guy goes on sale next week at  Two Peas and a Bucket. Decided to do a scrapbook page this week, hopefully to get some creative mojo back.

I'm hoping to have a cute Halloween book finished and posted this week. It is almost finished just waiting for a perfect picture day. Its been dark, gloomy, and rainy here in North Carolina as of late, OH and warm. I think it was cold for about one weekend. Ok FALL feel free to come on over. LOL. Digital Doodle Tuesday !!!

Wanted to share my last two doodle projects with you with the new Night Before Christmas Doodles By Kathy Martin. They are too cute. My first project was two cards. I have been saving this AC papers for a while and thought they would be perfect for a collage.

My second project is a shadow box. I was very excited about this project. It’s actually packaging from a Making Memories Embellishment Box. Recycling at its best. Can’t wait to put it up for Christmas.

Digital Doodles Design Team member Arielle Gorden, who has a great big heart of gold, came up with the idea and inspired the following pink projects.

Fall Fun ...

We had such a great weekend. Decided to do some Halloween/Fall decorating. My husband and I love the holidays and there might be a good chance he will deploying by next holiday season. We try to live the moments when we can.As you can see I put my last design team project to good use.

We really needed to get out this weekend, so we headed to the farm for some fun (we don’t really see things like this in Orlando, FL). This is actually the first time Matt has ever taken Ryan to the pumpkin patch before. (Shocker hes been gone a lot). LOL. I think we needed a break from house stuff (even though we are enjoying our new house a bunch). Here's some of my favorite pics from this weekend (it was extremly difficult to pick).

This weekend we also had family pictures done. I cannot wait to see them. We haven’t had family pics done professionally in a long time and I found a really nice freelance photographer to do them. The shoot was fun and my son managed to make it thru 200 shots. You can check out her site HERE. Once I get the proofs back they will be posted ASAP.

All Moved In ....

Hello Ladies (and possible Gentleman) well I’m sort of back. We are all moved in and my first project OF COURSE is my Scrap Room. This was one of the last rooms we moved because we knew stuff would be everywhere. LOL. You all remember my last theme: Black and White with some Parisian goodness. Well now that I own this room (LOL) I WANT COLOR …. I still plan on adding some black and white with my favorite city in the world. As we were at Lowes shopping for something (we have become frequent Lowes shoppers) I found this Do it Yourself Magazine from Better Homes and Garden on craft spaces. I think it was meant to be. I saw this article and was inspired.

I love everything about this room. The stenciled wall, closet, and multi-patterns everywhere. I plan on using little bits pieces for my creative space. This was my room last week (and yes that’s my scrap stuff in the GARAGE).

After some organization, closet installation, and some painting. (There’s Ryan helping in the painting process).  My room has a colored wall and a closet that fits everything, I MEAN EVERYTHING. I actually have more room than I ever did in those cabinets.  WOOHOO. (We plan on putting snazzy curtains up like the article). 

Here's a little sneak peek on my closet and paint color (The paint color is actually a tad darker turquoise/tropical bay, not so light baby blue. You can also check out the fabric, wall stencil, ect. I plan on using for the rest of the room). So excitied !!!

I should be back posting next week and hopefully sharing a project or two. Been slowly blog hopping and have been loving all the great fall projects out. We were finally able to decorate for halloween a bit so I will share pics later. Hope everyone has a nice relaxing Sunday !!!

WE HAVE A HOUSE !!!

Wanted to do a quick post before I have no internet for good. We closed on our first house yesterday and we are moving in. WOOHOO. We are so excitied and going to Lowes is our favorite thing to do right now. LOL. Oh and incase your wondering "Where did she get that cute digi images?".
