Everthing is Better ......

Remember that super awesome love sneak peek layout I showed awhile back ??? Well Im finally able to show it. I created this layout using the Promise Me paper collection. The banner strips come in the sundries pack. To make the flowers, she punched tissue paper out using a paper-punch and layered them together.

*The session will take place in March/April on a weekend in my favorite location.

*Preferred ages for children are 6 months – 6 years.

Ryan's Six Birthday !!!

Finally time to share those party pictures. If you have not noticed yet …. I like to dabble in a lot of creative ventures. My son had a blast and hopefully this will be something he remembers. {Because Momma did a lot of baking}. If you did see my kiddos 6 year pictures you can find them HERE. A little bit about the party. I normally have this long list of places I purchased things from, however I have to say I banked on this party. A Christmas themed shindig was just the ticket a week after December. I actually found everything at Target & Wal-Mart. Those seriously cute cocoa cups are from Garnish. Yup that’s the list.

CHA Faves 2012

Though I don't scrapbook as much as I like to anymore. To be perfectly honest I became just IDK "Burnt". Hopefully I will get back into it soon. I was kinda tempting myself to not look at any CHA stuff this year .... but im glad I did because I got giddy. -------- That's a very good sign to get some paper out. lol.

First up who seriously does not love this new Dear Lizzy line. Must get some of this for my spring packaging for Patty K Photography. {Those stamps would be perfect}.

and of course some Amy Tan.

{which I still need to get some of her other line ...opps}.

I know my list is not long this year. I saw so many great collections but these are what stood out and thought "I MUST HAVE". I could pretty much have a garage sale with how much paper products I own. So I'm being picky now.

Before I go a quick SEI layout share ......

For us here in North Carolina we have had a Florida Winter .... for real ..... a neighbor was outside mowing the lawn yesterday. lol. But for those of you with snow, I hope your inspired.

What SEI had to say "Patty captured this great photo of her son playing in the snow. She scrapbooked it using the Silver Valley collection, perfect for all sorts of wintery layouts".

Hello Hello .... look at this another blog post this week ... YAY. Me. Where on earth has everyone been??? You better all be working on CHA projects or comments are required. LOL. So very excited to share another publication. WOOHOO. ---------- YES, I do still get excited about them.

This layout was done for Echo parks Victoria Gardens release last CHA. You can check it out in the newest Scrapbook Trends.

Since this layout is for the month of Feb. Here's a little sneak peek at a layout I made with the Promise Me Collection for SEI. LOVE THIS PAPER. If you ahvent gotten any yet, I suggest you do. Can we just say light pink and gold embossed map. EEKK. love.

Party Planning .......

It's been a party planning couple of weeks. My kiddo is turning 6 {can't believe it}. This year we decided a to do a Polar Express Themed party {during winter months its always hard to figure out a theme}. Since Ryan loves Christmas & Trains ..... lets just say he is very excited. Thought I would share some party planning things I have been diving into.

First up is Ryan's 6 year Birthday Pictures {if you didn't see my last post HERE}.

Okay so THIS is my dinning room table at the moment. I have to say this was the perfect theme because I got some amazing things on Clarence. lol.

{If you see towels over some bags ----> its because my wonderful cat LUCY likes to rip plastic bags apart. We already had an incident with ripped bags and marshmallows everywhere. I will not be serving those at the party}.

Yes, I know this table is a mess and I have a ton to do before next Saturday.Next up is Ryan's invite I have worked so hard on. It's a 5x5 tri-fold card.

Some Digital Details ......

Each Invite sent out came with a ticket for each child to bring to the party.

Last I wanted to show you this great idea for cupcakes I will be making at the end of the week {with help from a friend}. How cute are these !?! You will have to check them out here on Pinterest.

The girl with Scrap News .....

So I had to share one scrappy related item ..... before I went on a mission to figure out how to make these cake pops everyone is raving about.

Here's a first publication for the year {hoping there will be many more}. This was one of my first projects using the Happy Days line for last years Echo Park CHA. Pretty neat !?!

Im currently in the process {or should I say I really need to get started on} goodies with this new line from SEI Promise Me.

Who's very excited about the CHA sneak peeks ??? ummm hello ME !!! I still haven't scrapped a lot. Getting my ducks in a row with a new company and being a single parent again this deployment has been very hard. Hopefully towards the middle of the year I will get my schedule straight.

I love seeing the CHA products lines I design for gives me an idea of what I will be working with soon. Right now I'm only designing for SEI. Decided to take a break from some teams to get like I said "My Ducks in a Row". I really didn't expect Patty K Photography to take off like it has. So my favorite new SEI line coming out soon is Field Notes. IDK why .... I just LIKE IT.
